What is the fellowship initiative?
The Fellowship Initiative (TFI) is a free leadership program that offers several opportunities designed to prepare high school young men for life postsecondary and beyond.
Recognizing the unique challenges they face, TFI staff goes beyond providing traditional academic support, offering a multifaceted program that prepares Fellows to navigate life as young adults.
From navigating the college admissions process to developing essential life skills, TFI provides Fellows with the tools and skill-building experiences they need to succeed.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Fellows commit to an intensive three-year program designed to set them up for long-term success. The Fellowship Initiative is completely free for participants, with staff providing opportunities, resources, and experiences valued at an estimated $75,000.
Fellows meet with staff and peers three Saturdays each month during the school year for sessions and workshops focused on leadership, academics, and personal growth. In addition, Fellows take part in robust summer programming that continues their development.

TFI is designed to support young men for their formative, final 3 years of high school, guiding them through cultural excursions, career exploration, professional development and more, all with the intent to give them a fuller understanding of their post-secondary options.
While student programming is delivered in English, all of our applications and official program communication is delivered in both English and Spanish, including Parent Meetings.
If your parent/guardian speaks another language, we’ll do our best to make parent correspondence accessible within our current capacity.

TFI is completely free for families. Our students show up and work hard – in return, our staff works hard to provide skill-building opportunities, support, and resources with an estimated value of $75,000.
