Library Out Loud

What is Library Out Loud?

Library Out Loud is a free after school program that offers learning opportunities at Dallas Public Library branches. This program engages students’ creativity through stimulating cultural experiences that are free of charge.

How It Works?

We host free, interactive programs at Dallas Public Library branches for participants of all ages. Children and their caregivers can explore various cultural traditions through storytelling, the visual and performing arts.

Celebrating Differences

Activities integrate seasonal themes or events (Hispanic Heritage Month, Black History Month, Earth Day, etc.), reinforcing pride and understanding by celebrating different cultural backgrounds.

Storytellers and performers bring featured works to life and invite students to participate in cultural activities.
