Interactive Public Programs

We host free, interactive programs at Dallas Public Library branches for participants of all ages. Children and their caregivers can explore various cultural traditions through storytelling, the visual and performing arts.

Celebrating differences

Activities integrate seasonal themes or events (Hispanic Heritage Month, Black History Month, Earth Day, etc.), reinforcing pride and understanding by celebrating different cultural backgrounds.

Master storytellers and performers bring featured works to life and invite students to participate in cultural activities.

Library Out Loud Impact

484 youth served annually
2871 student learning hours annually
