After School Site Specialist
Location: Varies in DFW area
Reports to: Program Manager

About the Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be responsible for building a positive rapport with co-workers and have a sincere interest in working with and safely and successfully managing elementary children.
Qualifications
What the Role Entails:
- Lead the day to day operations of an assigned program site
- Ensure the safety of children at all times, including arrival & departure
- Monitor a consistent headcount of children and report as appropriate
- Assist with planning and activities
- May be assigned to Summer programming implementation
- Refer parents, youth & staff to community resources as appropriate
- Maintain staff files and training records
- Infuse inclusion and equity in all aspects of position
- High degree of EQ (emotional intelligence)
- Responsible for financial transaction involving purchase of supplies, etc.
- Coordinate and manage the collection of assessment data
- Demonstrate cultural awareness
- May be assigned to other programs
- Can assist with budget preparation and /or input
Minimum Qualifications:
- H. S. diploma plus other coursework
- Experience leading or supervising a plus
- Experience in a non-profit
- Bi-lingual a plus
Additional Information:
- Must have reliable transportation
- High comfort level with changing priorities
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Must consent to a thorough background check
- Proficiency in current technology
- Self starter
Physical Expectations (not an exhaustive list):

To perform the duties of these roles successfully, you may regularly be required to: sit, stand, or stare at computer screen for long periods of time; participate in external activities; use various office equipment, some manual; work in environment with loud sounds, multiple distractions, and interruptions; be exposed to extreme hot or cold temperatures on occasion; maintain emotional control during stressful situations.
