Catch the Creative Learning Bug
Thriving Minds promotes creative thinking, active learning and experimentation to develop critical academic and life skills in youth. This partnership, managed by Big Thought, includes the City of Dallas, Dallas Independent School District and more than 100 arts, cultural and community organizations. We've all come together to make creative learning a part of the education of all Dallas youth, both in- and out-of-school.

To accomplish our goal, we support fine arts instruction in schools and integrate creativity and arts into traditional classroom subjects. Thriving Minds also offers free and low-cost after-school and neighborhood-based enrichment programs in music, dance, visual and performing arts, science, culinary arts, technology and more. Dallas is the only city in the country offering this level of comprehensive creative learning opportunities citywide on a year-round basis. More
